It’s been an incredible week. On Monday we launched our Pozible fundraising campaign in order to shore up a post-production budget for the film. We thought we’d be struggling to make it over the line given how tight money is at the moment – but how wrong we were. So many of our generous friends, loved ones and philanthropic strangers have put their hands in their pockets and chosen to help us out – as of this morning we’re sitting on 77% of our target and we’re only four days in. We are so grateful and cannot believe how much goodwill there is out there for this project. What an amazing gift, thank you.
We’ve popped a few photos of our first set up on FB – pop on over and watch the first set shape up before we start shooting next week.
The full set is available here.
After many months spent thinking, brainstorming, mooching, gathering, interviewing, editing, writing, editing, writing, cutting, editing, track reading and eating chocolate, I’ve finally started to build the little world that is going to house Good Grief. I love this bit!
Here’s a snapshot of our first character puppet, Dan a.k.a ‘Spangle’ the Boston Terrier. He’s naked right now, but soon to be a flesh and blood clay character.
I’m happy to welcome Jonno Katz on board as the producer for Good Grief. Jonno has a wealth of comedic and theatrical skillz to his name and I’m sure he’s going to pull a rabbit out of a hat at some stage. It’s a good feeling to have another soul on board.
I’ve been thinking about this film for well over a year, but it’s pretty exciting to start getting it off the ground. How am I feeling? Terrified! Excited! Terrified!
